DESCRIPTION:
This beautiful offering from Fleck is the result of two decades of fine custom guitar building and repair by exceptional builder Mike Fleck. It takes a fresh look at classic guitar design, with new features that enhance playability and tone, providing the guitarist with an unparalleled playing experience. The result is a fine guitar of immense beauty that feels both instantly familiar, and entirely new.
The Fleck Electric is capable of gorgeous, almost acoustic sounds, rich jazz textures and rock tones fat enough to tear a door off its hinges. From its perfectly crowned and shaped frets to its hand-rubbed finish, every aspect has been refined. It's attractive enough to hang on your wall, but make no mistake, this is a player's guitar, built for the demands of the most discerning musician. The thin, soft V neck is smooth, fast and comfortable, while the ergonomically shaped body fits like an old friend. Access to the upper frets is easy with a generous and unique cutaway. Each note sustains with a round full tone, eliminating that short "plink" heard from many guitars. The smooth, curved upper portion of the body is easy on your right arm, allowing comfortable picking, and the lower portion won't slide off your knee when sitting. And, the whole thing comes with a setup that's second to none.
Each guitar is available with a wide selection of tone woods and custom pickup options, ensuring a guitar that will truly fit the way you play. Woods currently seasoning in Fleck's shop are; rosewood, ebony, mahogany, maple, ash, spruce and alder.
