Wood - A wood model leans to the natural beauty of the wood itself and allowing those woods to be heard by adding hollow body construction design, from chambered to hollow body models in carved top tradition. The chambers add air flow and clarity to chord structure that is very detailed and sustains very well. An excellent all around instrument, it can be blue but still get up and rock with the heavyweights.

The b3 "WOOD" MODEL is one of Gene's greatest achievements. This guitar sounds bigger, deeper and richer than most any 335 style guitar or for that matter, any semi to full hollowbody rock/blues/jazz guitar out there. Its neck pickup truly dwarfs the finest 335 style guitars we've put against it and it's bridge pickup is dramatically fatter, rounder and warmer than that of any other in it's class. This is simply one of the finest sounding instruments available!
