Love it or hate it, the internal combustion engine has earned a special place in the hallowed halls of Americana. The golden age of the automobile brought new freedom of movement and left behind a massive carbon skidmark, along with a nearly endless trail of discarded license plates. The latter of these legacies, reworked into pickguards, become the main visual feature of the Road Dog guitars and basses. In addition to a splash of color, these plates can add a very literal sense of time and place, offering ample opportunity for personal customization.
The examples shown here use traditional Fender style body shapes which are available by request, but the Muleskinner body shape, which is similar, will primarily be used.
Pricing: starts at $2000
