Eastern red cedar (Juniperus Virginiana) is the primary feature of these guitars and basses. Other than that, anything goes. They are available in any body shape and with any hardware and pickup configuration. Eastern red cedar is a light, soft wood, typically containing plenty of knots, light colored sapwood streaks, dry rot, bark inclusions and other treasures; any or all of which can be proudly displayed.
